Man dies after shooting near Brook Road in Henrico
HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Henrico Police is investigating a deadly shooting that took place off of Brook Road on Sunday. According to police, at 11:57 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24, officers responded to the 8500 block of Brook Road for a "domestic-related call for service." Once officers were on scene they found a man inside a room with apparent gunshot wounds, and they provided life-saving measures until first responders with the Henrico County Division of Fire transported him to a local hospital. The man died later on due to his injuries. Detectives with the investigation are not currently looking for anyone in connection to the shooting -- more details will be released when they become available.
