Man injured after shooting in Richmond’s East End

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A man is injured after police said he was shot in Richmond's East End early Thursday morning.

At 12:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 2100 block of Creighton Road in Richmond's East End for the report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, police said they found a man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.
