Man killed in shooting on Richmond’s West Broad Street

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Richmond Police Department responded to a shooting on West Broad Street that resulted in the death of a man.
At approximately 2:03 p.m. on March 1, Richmond police responded to a call of a person shot at the 1500 block of West Broad Street in front of Foot Locker.
When officers arrived, they found an adult male down with a gunshot wound. According to police, he was taken to a nearby hospital where he died from injuries.
The Medical Examiner will determine the cause and the manner of the death.
Richmond police detectives are not looking for any suspects at the moment.
