Name picked for Metro Richmond Zoo’s new baby pygmy hippo

The public picked "Poppy" as the hippo's name, which was announced by the zoo in the morning on Monday, Jan. 6. The baby hippo was born on Dec. 9 to parents Iris and Corwin, according to the zoo.
