New Kent Sheriff’s Office sought man charged with animal cruelty

NEW KENT COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The New Kent County Sheriff's Office Animal Protection Unit was seeking to find a man charged with animal cruelty on Wednesday.
According to the sheriff's office, David Richardson had a warrant for failure to appear in court for his original charge of cruelty to animals.
At around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, the sheriff's office reported that Richardson had turned himself in.
