New Panera Bread opening in Chesterfield

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A new Panera Bread is set to open in Chesterfield County on Thursday, with free meals available for the first 100 guests on opening day.

At 6 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13, Panera Bread will open a new location at 6741 Courthouse Landing Lane, according to a Nov. 11 press release from the company.

The first 100 guests on opening day will receive free "You Pick Two" meals, which consist of two half-size brand favorites, for a year. These free meals can be redeemed monthly, a total of 12 times, per the release.

This location will employ more than 50 local workers, Panera Bread said.

Additionally, from opening day until Feb. 13, 2026, Panera Bread is inviting local nonprofits like schools, sports teams and other community organizations to host fundraising nights in partnership with the company. According to the release, 30% of net event sales will be given back to the participating organizations.
