Non-profit Katie’s Soles sets up in new Petersburg location

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- The non-profit organization Katie's Soles recently announced the grand opening of a new location at the Virginia Community Resource Center (VCRC) in Petersburg.

Katie's Soles, started by Denise Biggs in 2019, provides people in need with daily necessities like shoes, socks, coats, diapers and more -- all for free.

The organization will now be operating out of the VCRC building located at 22 W Washington St. -- accepting and giving out donations of shoes and other resources from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
