Person injured in Richmond stabbing, police investigating
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is investigating after a person was injured in a stabbing on Saturday afternoon. At around 5:11 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, Richmond Police officers responded to the 1700 block of Clarkson Road for the report of a person stabbed. According to police, when officers arrived on scene, they found a victim with "apparent wounds to the abdomen." The victim was then transported to a local hospital to be treated for injuries not considered to be life-threatening. Richmond Police's Major Crimes unit is investigating the incident.
