Petersburg’s first-ever vegan kitchen ‘NuVegan’ announces grand opening

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) -- Petersburg has a new restaurant in town, but it's unlike one the city has ever seen before. NuVegan café has announced its official opening on Tuesday, July 1.
The business, which is located on 950 South Sycamore St., is the first and only vegan kitchen as of reporting, according to a recent Facebook post from the café.
NuVegan invites the public to join them at 1:07 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, to reveal their completely plant-based café, updated dining room, great food, good vibes and community love.
There will also be grand opening festivities for those who choose to attend.
