The organization hosts 2 Step Up events, offering multiple locations and times of year to give people the chance to show support for Down syndrome.
This year's Step UP 5K & Family Festival included a 5K run or walk along the Capital Trail, a family advocacy walk around the lake, food trucks, a silent auction and raffle, exhibitors and more.
The $225,000 goal helps families in the Richmond community with Down syndrome.
