Police seek public’s help in identifying suspect in Richmond business break-in

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a person of interest in connection to a break-in that took place at a local business. Police said detectives are investigating a break-in at a local business in the area of the 6400 block of Midlothian Turnpike. At 10:57 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, a man "forced" his way into the locked store and stole tobacco products that valued more than $2,000, according to police. Police said the suspect ran away from the scene in an unknown direction. He was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, dark-colored jeans, a white and blue backpack and white sneakers.
