PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A Prince Edward County convenience store was robbed on Sunday, with local authorities searching for the person responsible. At about 9:15 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, the Pump and Pantry convenience store -- located at 3810 W. Third Street, near Dowdy's Corner -- was robbed, according to the Prince Edward County Sheriff's Office. The suspect reportedly took "an undisclosed amount of cash" from the store, then got into a white SUV and fled west towards Dowdy's Corner. According to the office, the suspect was not the one driving said SUV.
