RACC celebrates new horse trailer, will make large animal rescues easier
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Large animal rescues just got easier for Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) following the gift of a new horse trailer. On Thursday, Dec. 5, RACC announced on Facebook that the Kara and Eden Project -- which provides spay services in Richmond -- had sponsored the purchase of a new horse trailer for the shelter. "This might just be the prettiest trailer on the road!" RACC said. "Sporting the best photos (thanks Ashley Dobbin Calkins), of a few beloved animals we saved over the years, this trailer is sure to be blessed with lots of good vibes!" Said beloved animals pictured on the trailer include Kevin the donkey, Sheep the sheep, Buttercup the cow and Ranger the horse, according to RACC. "We are ready for our next large animal rescue thanks to the Kara & Eden Project — we are SO THANKFUL for you!" RACC said.
