Recovery advocate Ryan Hampton coming to Richmond for book signing

HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Recovery advocate Ryan Hampton will be coming to Richmond this Thursday with his new book "Fentanyl Nation" for a book signing.
On Thursday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m., those interested can come to the second floor of The McShin Foundation, located at 2300 Dumbarton Road, to participate in the book signing event.
The book "Fentanyl Nation" talks about important research and stories surrounding the fentanyl crisis and how policy failures can contribute to opioid overdose deaths.
Destiny House: How this mom found home in recovery
Hampton, a previous employee of the Clinton administration, is in recovery himself from an opioid addiction that lasted for a decade. He now travels across the country to advocate for recovery and drug policy reform.
