StormTracker8: Chilly Conditions Continue; Rain on Sunday

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – It has been a very chilly Black Friday, and tomorrow will be no different. Overnight lows will be even colder than last nights, with temperatures in the low 20s and even teens across Central Virginia for Saturday morning.

Saturday afternoon highs will be in the mid 40s. Sunday lows will be near 30° and highs will be in the 40s, but we will have chances for scattered rain on Sunday. The best chance for rain will be in the afternoon, and skies will be mostly cloudy or overcast all day.

Monday will be clear, but we have rain chances on Tuesday. This time, the rain will be widespread, with nearly all of Central Virginia receiving beneficial precipitation. Some models want to bring wintery mix into portions of the state. Right now, I don't believe we will see anything other than rain, but we will keep you updated over the coming days.

Wednesday through Friday are forecast to be clear, but temperatures should remain below normal for this time of year. We are tracking rain chances for late Friday night into Saturday of next week, but hopefully it will hold off until after RVA Illuminates!
