StormTracker8: Chilly next couple of days; Spring is right around the corner

Richmond, Va (WRIC) -- Partly sunny skies will move in for St. Patrick's Day today. Luck is not quite on our sides, however, as far as temperatures go. We will be chilly in the mid to upper 40s.

Wednesday will be a similar day and feature partly sunny conditions and temperatures will remain in the upper 40s.

Thursday will be more seasonable and highs will return into the upper 50s and feature partly sunny skies.

The first day of Spring is this Friday and the season will officially begin at 10:46am! It will be a nice spring day with highs in the mid 60s and we'll be under partly sunny skies.

As we head into next weekend, Saturday and Sunday will both feature partly sunny skies, but we can't rule out some passing showers both Saturday and Sunday night. Temperatures will be mild in the upper 60s to near 70.

Another weather system will be moving in early next week and could bring us some showers on Monday with highs in the upper 50s. Tuesday will be a touch cooler with temperatures in the mid 50s under partly sunny skies.
