StormTracker8: Cool & sunny weekend; Warmer start to the week
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Today will be breezy and feature lots of sunshine. Our temperatures will have some improvement as highs climb into the low 50s.
More seasonable conditions return for Sunday with highs in the low 60s under mostly sunny skies.
The start of the work week is going to be nice. Temperatures will be mild in the mid to upper 70s on Monday and Tuesday. Both days will feature partly sunny skies.
Wednesday will start off with sunshine and will be warm and humid with highs in the low 80s. However, during the afternoon a cold front will approach Central Virginia and this could kick start some thunderstorms during the afternoon & evening hours.
This cold front will linger over us and bring another round of rain for Thursday as well as cooler temperatures leaving us with highs only in the low to mid 60s.
This system very well could hold on as we're closing out the work week and heading into the weekend. This brings us more clouds and the risk of showers both throughout the day Friday and early Saturday. Highs on Friday will be seasonable in the mid to upper 60s. By Saturday temperatures return into the low 70s.
