StormTracker8: Rain chances Sunday; Cool next week

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – Central Virginia is going to see pleasant temperatures in the low 70s today. Isolated rain chances are possible through Sunday night with a small clearing midday. I would recommend keeping your umbrella on hand! Overnight lows will be in the upper 30s.

Monday is going to be a chilly one after a cold front passes through during the night. Get your cold weather gear ready! Highs will be in the upper 40s and lows will dip into the upper 20s heading into Tuesday for your morning commute.

A freeze watch is in place from Monday night to Tuesday morning. If you have any plants outside, you will want to bring them in before Monday night.

Veterans Day, Tuesday, will be mostly sunny. Temperatures remain cool with highs in the low 50s and lows in the low 30s.

The middle of next week becomes more seasonable with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Skies will continue to clear during mid-week.

Clouds start to form by Friday heading into the weekend with high temperatures near 60.
