StormTracker8: Snow ends this evening, arctic air all weekend
Richmond, Va. (WRIC) -- Steady snow will come to an end this evening across Central Virginia and many of you will end up with 2”-4” of accumulation by the time it's all said and done.
We will have clearing skies throughout the overnight and it will be cold and the winds will start to kick up by Saturday morning our overnight low will fall into the upper teens.
Saturday will feature mostly sunny skies, and it will be windy and cold with highs only near 25 and the winds will gust from 30 to 40 miles per hour throughout the day. When you factor in the wind that will give us wind chills in the single digits and lower teens throughout the day.

Those winds will slowly diminish overnight Saturday into early Sunday, but it will be very cold with an overnight low near 10 under clear skies.
Sunday will start off partly sunny, but another week weather system will slide in out of the Ohio Valley and that'll bring us some clouds and the risk of some flurries during the afternoon.
It will be another cold day with highs near 30. Monday will feature sunny skies with highs in the upper 30s.
Tuesday we should see more sunshine and it will be a little more normal for this time of year with highs near 50.
Looking ahead to Wednesday and Thursday we have a weather system that will push into the region and provide rain showers for both days with highs remaining around 50.
