StormTracker8: Unsettled pattern all week

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) – We will have clear skies for this evening but overnight a few clouds will move in however it will be comfortable with lows 60 to 65.
Tuesday will start off with Sunshine however clouds will increase during the afternoon and there might even be a spotty shower or two with highs near 80.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will feature mostly cloudy skies with the risk of a couple of spotty showers and our high temperatures will remain in the lower 80s.
As we turn our attention to the weekend there is the potential that some moisture from a coastal system could come our way and bring us some steady rain during the day Saturday and some showers on Sunday. The humidity will increase over the weekend, and our high temperatures will top out in the middle 80s.
Looking ahead to early next week we should see partly sunny skies for Monday and Tuesday, and it will be very warm and humid with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 and there is the chance for a few scattered thunderstorms during the afternoon and evenings.
Tracking the tropics:
Tropical storm Dexter has Winds of 45 mph and it is moving to the northeast at 14 miles per hour. This storm is expected to slowly strengthen but continue to move out into the open Waters of the North Atlantic so this post is absolutely no threat to land.
There is the potential that a tropical system or tropical wave could develop along the South Carolina and Georgia Coastline in the next 7 days and right now this has a 30% chance of developing. This is what I'm actively watching that could bring us the chance of rain for the upcoming weekend.
Farther out in the Atlantic just coming off the coast of Africa is another area of disturbed weather that could develop over the next 7 days into some sort of tropical system. Right now there is a 50% chance of this area developing.
