Upcoming ramp closures on Powhite Parkway due to Richmond Marathon

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority (RMTA) has shared information regarding upcoming ramp closures on Saturday due to the Richmond Marathon. According to RMTA, the following ramps will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 due to the Richmond Marathon: Powhite Parkway/Route 76 Southbound to Forest Hill Westbound off ramp Forest Hill Westbound to Powhite Parkway/Route 76 Northbound on ramp (straight ramp) 2nd Street off ramp Westbound Downtown Expressway at Belvidere The City of Richmond will be directing the traffic flow in the areas during the time of the marathon. "Because the Richmond Marathon is not sponsored by the Richmond Metropolitan Transportation Authority, we have no control on how traffic will be directed to enter or leave the city of Richmond for the marathon," said RMTA in the statement. According to RMTA, the following ramps will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16 due to the Richmond Marathon:
