Upgraded seating, larger screens and more coming to Movieland at Boulevard Square
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- Attention, moviegoers! Renovations and upgrades are coming to Movieland at Boulevard Square, including upgraded seats and larger screens. According to the theater, all auditoriums will receive electric recliners with integrated tables. In addition, multiple auditoriums will get larger screens and two new BTX: Bow Tie Extreme large format auditoriums will be built. The theater will also get a family-friendly arcade and duckpin bowling game. A spokesperson said six of the newly renovated electric recliner auditoriums will be open in time for Christmas, and the other renovations are planned to be completed by the spring of 2025.
