Walmart on Sheila Lane offers free bottled water to residents
RICHMOND, Va. -- A Walmart in Richmond announced that they would be donating bottled water to residents impacted by the recent loss of water throughout the city.
According to a release, the Walmart located at 2410 Sheila Lane will have a dozen truckloads of bottled water in the supercenter's parking lot starting on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 3 p.m.
This donation comes after several localities have either lost water or are experiencing low water pressure after a power outage caused electrical equipment failure at a water treatment plant in Richmond.
