Winter storm warning issued for several Central Virginia areas
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for several Central Virginia areas on Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service, the following Central Virginia areas are under a winter storm warning starting on Sunday, Jan. 5:
From noon Sunday to 7 p.m. Monday
- Buckingham County
From 4 p.m. Sunday to 7 a.m. Tuesday
- Amelia County
- Chesterfield County
- Colonial Heights
- Essex County
- Hanover County
- Henrico County
- City of Richmond
- King William County
- King and Queen County
- Louisa County
- Fluvanna County
- Goochland County
- New Kent County
- Northumberland County
- Powhatan County
- Prince Edward County
- Richmond County
- Caroline County
- Cumberland County
From 6 p.m. Sunday to 1 a.m. Tuesday
- Albemarle County
- Orange County
