Woman fighting for her life, man injured after shooting in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- A woman is fighting for her life and a man is injured after police said they were both found with gunshot wounds in Richmond's East End Monday evening. At 11:49 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13, officers with the Richmond Police Department responded to the 1900 block of Raven Street for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound and a woman with a gunshot wound to her stomach. The man's injury is considered non-life-threatening and the woman's injury is considered life-threatening. Both victims were taken to a local hospital. Officials continue to investigate.
