Church Hill Irish Festival to return to Richmond for 40th year
RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) -- The Church Hill Irish Festival will return to Richmond for its 40th year on Saturday and Sunday, featuring Irish coffee, bagpipes, dancing, vendors, local bands and more.

The 40th annual Church Hill Irish Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22, at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, located at 215 N. 5th St.
Attendees will be able to enjoy live local music, food provided by St. Patrick's Church, vendors and local craftspeople, Irish beverages, children's games, Irish and Highland dance, and bagpipes.
This year's festival will also feature a parade in the morning on Saturday. On Sunday morning, patrons can participate in a five-kilometer race -- the HillTopper 5K.
Organizers said an entry donation of $5 is suggested to support the festival.

????Parking and shuttles????
The festival offers free parking with a shuttle at 16th and East Broad Street, which drops off attendees at 24th and East Broad Street. There is an additional shuttle that will pick up attendees at 200 Orleans Street, with drop-off at 26th and East Broad Street.
The shuttles run all day on both Saturday and Sunday.
Organizers said pets are not allowed at the Irish festival, with the exception of service dogs.
