Person seriously injured in crash on Chippenham Parkway ramp

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- One person was seriously injured in a crash on the Chippenham Parkway exit ramp to Interstate 95 on Tuesday afternoon.
At 4:09 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17, Virginia State Police troopers responded to a crash involving a tractor-trailer and an SUV on I-95 South to Exit 67 -- the Chippenham Parkway ramp.

According to police, one person was taken to VCU Medical Center with injuries considered life-threatening.
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is on scene assisting with a detour at this time.
This crash remains under investigation.
