Chesterfield Police search for boat, trailer stolen from auto upholsterer
CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Chesterfield Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a boat and trailer that was allegedly stolen from an auto upholsterer earlier in March.
The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program said the boat and trailer theft happened at Corky’s Upholstery Services at 3700 Hendricks Road in Chesterfield County on Tuesday, March 3, according to a March 30 press release.
The boat is described as a 1987, 8-foot, fixed-hull dinghy with "Avatar" labeled on both sides and the trailer is a black single axel.
According to Crime Solvers, the boat has a hull ID of CPT08001K787 -- though there is no additional information on the stolen trailer at this time.
