The Greensville County Volunteer Fire Department thanked not only the involved first responders, but the surrounding community for their support during Tuesday's response.
"We would like to extend a deep gratitude for the many departments, rehab units, and Emergency Management teams that were able to respond and assist on scene," the department said. "We would also like to send a huge THANK YOU to the many community members for their outpouring of support during the incident. We are forever grateful for the many food and drink items that were brought to the scene for personnel. Without your unwavering support, we could not do what we do each and every day."
