Richmond man, 2 others arrested after deadly gang-related shooting
ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A Richmond man and two others were both hit with several felony charges after a deadly Oct. 2024 shooting that Albemarle County authorities believe to be gang-related.
At about 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, crews with Albemarle County Police and Fire Rescue were called to the 1600 block of Rio Hill Drive for multiple reports of shots fired.
When they arrived, they found 23-year-old Zerrion Eubanks-Warfield of Charlottesville, who died at the scene. An unidentified second victim was taken to an area medical center with injuries not considered life-threatening.
Several nearby vehicles and apartments in the area were also struck by gunfire.
Six months later, on April 21, the Albemarle County Police Department provided an update on this investigation.
